It all comes down to Us…” These were the final and powerful words Julie Bishop left with members at the July Round Table Dinner.

Australia’s first female Foreign Minister (2014 – 2018), Ms Bishop was our special guest. She provided many insightful leadership messages and anecdotes from her experiences with world leaders and from her time in government and opposition.

Authentic Leadership was a central theme and whilst describing the significant differences between Boris Johnson, Donald Trump and Barack Obama, it was their authenticity that ensured they were effective in their own ways. Ms Bishop spoke of the importance of collaborative leadership and congratulated Committee and its members on its work in helping to build a better region.

There was much for the audience to take away and her presentation will go down as another exclusive opportunity for Committee for Ballarat members and their guests.
