What a night it was to celebrate with our members and guests. An incredible evening attended by our founding, current and new members, all united by Committee’s unwavering purpose: to inspire thought leadership and drive collaboration to shape a prosperous region.
Our celebration was for all that makes Committee for Ballarat unique. It’s our 120+ members and associates who give back to the community, who show up, contribute, think, challenge, and act. They do so because they care and want to see us be the very best version of ourselves as a city, a region and as the Committee.
It was a night of fun, laughter and reflection as we put the spotlight on the lifeblood of our organisation, our members.
A most memorable and poignant highlight of the evening was a room united in a ‘Pub Choir’ like rendition of John Farnham’s You’re the Voice. Led by the amazingly talented Zoy Frangos and Bryce Ives, along with Pipers from Ballarat Grammar and Richard Chew, a world class pianist from Federation University, the 170 plus chorus really did demonstrate the power of a collective voice.
Thank you to our event partners for their support in making this memorable event possible: BJT Legal, Central Highlands Water, Eureka Concrete, Federation University Australia, Haymes Paint, Mars Wrigley, Nicholson Construction and RSM Australia.
As we look back on the past 20 years and look forward, we thank all involved in our work for your contribution. Your dedication has made it possible to influence policy, spark innovation and be creative: together we will continue to help shape the amazing place we call home.
