Enabling Growth
Ahead of the upcoming federal election, Ballarat. Now and Into the Future – Enabling Growth 2025 is calling on all sides of politics to support eight transformational projects for our city and region.
Committee for Ballarat has partnered with leading local organisations ACU, Central Highlands Water, Commerce Ballarat, Federation University, Grampians Health, Sovereign Hill and Tourism Midwest Victoria to call for major investment in infrastructure that supports growth.
We have a clear vision for our region, focused on education, sustainability, tourism and the infrastructure to support a growing population. Above all, we want to partner with the federal government to help continue to build our region as a thriving regional community with an unparalleled quality of life.
The eight key projects that have been identified are:

“Regional growth provides a more sustainable future for our capital cities and provides greater access for people to experience the lifestyle that comes with smaller well-connected and well-serviced communities.”
